She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Phillip and Mary Elizabeth Douglas Ballard; her daughters, Cynthia Diane May and Mary Elizabeth May Neeley; and her siblings, Tommy Ballard, Jerry Ballard and Beverly McCloud.
She is survived by: her husband Bill May; her son Kevin May (Tiffani); her grandchildren, Adam Neeley, Chandler May and Brett May (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Myles and Jett; her brother Danny Ballard (Nancy); her siblings-in-law, Martha Ballard, Linda Ballard and Harold McCloud; and her friend May.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home (1131 TX-149, Carthage, TX 75633). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Oaklawn Cemetery (18056 US-175, Mabank, TX 75147).
