She was predeceased by: her parents, Braswell Endsley and Pauline Endsley; her sister Martha Blackshear; her brother-in-law Bill Blackshear; and her nieces, Denise Harbison of Paris and Dahl Pullins of Paris.

She is survived by: her husband Wayne Chappell; her son Brad Chappell (Charmaine); her grandson J. W. Chappell (Allyson); her great grandchildren, Liam of Carthage and Brenton Chappell of Carthage; her sister-in-law Melba Springer (Howard) of Plano; her stepdaughter Cally Evans (Curtis) of Keller; her nieces, Dianne Falls and Krista Olszewski; her cousins, Jeanne Honea, Mildred Haygood, Benny Jewell, Frank Jewell and Danny Joe Jewell; and her close friend Beth Harris.
