We announce the death of Monroe Russom of Carthage, Texas, born in Winnsboro, Texas, who passed away on June 28, 2026, at the age of 81. Monroe will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Monroe Russom and Cora Jewel Buck Russom; his wife Elaine Russom; and his son Michael Monroe Russom (Nicole). He is survived by: his daughters, Elaine Struthers (Dave), Melanie Harris (Kenny), Crystal Chapman (Chappy) and Sarah Barr (Thomas). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as a many special friends.
