With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Nish Watkins of Carthage, Texas, born in Tyler, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Nish left this world on July 26, 2025 at the age of 50, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Annette Watkins and Lucky Watkins. She is survived by: her children, Mishael Gillispe, Dylan Clark, Colton Gillispie (Madison Tarjick-Weems) and Tristian Boniol (Dinah Humphrey); her brothers, Vance Watkins and Scott Watkins (Vicky); her grandchildren, Rider, Emerson, Easton, Tinlee, Cashton and Isabelle; her close friends, Melissa Poindexter, Tabatha Dickson, JD and Leanne Martin; and her pet Tipsey. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hawthorn Funeral Home (307 W Wellington St, Carthage, TX 75633). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Still Waters Cowboy Church (1699 TX-315, Carthage, TX 75633).
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made directly to Hawthorn Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
