She was predeceased by: her parents, Oretha Maines Jeffress of Carthage, Texas. and Roy Jeffress; her sister Jean Boothe; and her son-in-law Jim Altman. She is survived by: her husband Rodney Harris Bertram; her daughters, Cammy Altman of Longview and Courtney Shelton (Jeff Shelton) of Allen, Texas; her grandchildren, Josh Altman, Jared Altman, Owen Altman, Alex Shelton and Townes Shelton; and her siblings, Dean Jeffress of Tyler, Camie Davis of Carthage and Macy Johnson of Gary, Texas..

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home (1131 TX-149, Carthage, TX 75633). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Walton Cemetery (339 Co Rd 227, Carthage, TX 75633).
