He is survived by: his mother Betty Scarbrough (Don) of Carthage; his children, Joe Ross Anders (Kristyn) of Arkansas, Shelby Lynn Anders (Whitley) of Carrollton and Jacqueline Bliss Sloan of Shreveport, LA; his sisters, Terri Hudson (Jerry "Bubba") of Carthage and Tina Campbell of Carthage; and his grandchildren, Kason Lane Anders, Emmett Joe Anders, Amelia Anders, Ryan Lindsey and Jocelyn Lindsey.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hawthorn Funeral Home (307 W Wellington St, Carthage, TX 75633). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel (307 W Wellington St, Carthage, TX 75633).
