He was predeceased by: his parents, Nina Belle Rylee Peterson and Wayne Adren "Pete" Peterson; his children, Joni Peterson and Brian Lee Peterson; and his siblings, Eva Pearl Vandevort and Jerry Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Peterson of Lake Murvaul; his children, Kory Peterson of Lake Murvaul, Kristen Denizman of Chicago and Brett Peterson (Cathy) of Winnsboro; his brother Freddy Peterson (Janice) of Gilmer; his sister-in-law Judy Peterson of Beckville; and his grandchildren, Aaden, Everett, Amber, Katie, Zachary, Matthew, Brittny, Courtny, Tiffny and Jared. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, countless friends.
Memorial donations may be made in his honor to Mission Carthage.
