David Wayne Brinlee Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2025, at the age of 59, David Wayne Brinlee of Cedar Hill, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his father Gene Brinlee of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his wife Kasey Brinlee; his son Jonathan Brinlee (Katie) of Sherman, Texas; his stepchildren, Jake Tooley of Denton, Texas and Abigail Tooley of Eugene, Oregon; his siblings, Carl Brinlee of Wichita Falls, John Brinlee and Marie Morrison (Matt) of St. Joe, Texas; and his grandchildren, Hayden, Jackson and Camden.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Slay Memorial Chapel of Aubrey (400 US-377, Aubrey, TX 76227).
