Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Mario Lara leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He is survived by: his wife Sanjuana Lara; his children, Esmeralda, Alberto, Ruben and Azusena "Suzy"; and his nephew David. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jeter & Son Funeral Home (332 Cedar St, Cedar Hill, TX 75104). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
