With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mildred McDaniel (Cedar Hill, Texas), born in Shreveport, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2025 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her mother Jennett McDaniel; and her siblings, Freddie G. McDaniel, Jennie Davis (Floria) and Martha Nelson (Jean). She is survived by: her siblings, Cornelius "Mary" Hill, Alice "Sugar Do" Hawthorne, Elizabeth "Bet" Hayes (Elvin), Hazel Montgomery, David E. McDaniel (Lee) and Jesse J. McDaniel (Ann). She is also survived by great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
