He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. Melvin H. Mooring and Dorothy Sexton Mooring. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Miller Mooring; his daughters, Erin Rucker (Jim) of Liberty Hill, TX and Stacy Mooring (Johnathan) of Chesapeake, VA; and his grandchildren, A. J., Lizzy and Violet.
