She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Pearson and Bernice Pearson (Carlson); and her husband Dan. She is survived by: her children, Steve Olson (Cathie) of Arlington Hts, Julie Scales of Cedar Park, TX, Brad Olson (Margie) of Gilbert, AZ and Brian Olson (Lynn) of Houston, TX.; her grandchildren, Brett Olson (Stefanie), Blake Olson, Aaron Scales (Amber), Mitch Olson, Dan Olson, Megan Olson and Sam Llatada (Nicola); and her great grandchildren, Annika Olson and Brinley Olson.

Your Mom / grandmother is my father Kenneth Pearson, his parents Annette and Oliver Pearson, Oliver’s parents Otto and Anna (Olson) Pearson. Your mom and my dad were first cousins. I am so sorry for your recent loss of Jan. It is with fond memories I have of her.. when we were young we would have Christmas at Aunt Bernice’s … so long ago.
