He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wallace Davis and Billie Pitman Davis. He is survived by: his wife Jenny Frederick Nickel; his brothers, Jay (Jenny) and Clark (Rosie); his brothers-in-law, Jason (Magan), David and Kenneth; his cousin Gail Brown (Rusty); Maggie (Trey) and Delaney (Holden). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
