He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Sherrod; his parents, Melba Meziere and Eugene Meziere; and his brother Robert Sherrod. He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Meziere (Joanne), Gene Meziere Jr., David Meziere, Janet Garbutt (John) and Debra Meziere; and his children, Tami Lewright (Joe), Tim Sherrod (Emilie), Sherry Newman, Jamie Scoggins (Wayne) and Jennifer Lumpkins (David). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with countless extended family members and friends.
