He is survived by: his sister Judith Cheak; his brother-in-law Greg Swinney (Shirley); his children, Lynne Barry (John), Susan Bright and David Bright (Denise); his grandchildren, Nathan Barry (Martha) and Shannon Dowd (Andrew); his children, Richard Bright (Micheyl), Brian Barry (Rachel), Lauren Bright (Pryce) and Meghan Bright (Alex); and his great grandchildren, Kathee and Sydney Hoff.
Beyond his professional and academic achievements, Bob was an avid supporter of many charitable organizations, most notably the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
