He was predeceased by: his parents, R. D. Simmons Sr. and Evelyn Ruth Simmons. He is survived by: his children, Jamie Simmons, Amber Miller, Danny Simmons (Karen) and Ryan Simmons; his grandchildren, Jake Miller, Elise Miller, Quarry Simmons and John Simmons; and his sister Trisha Flory.
