With sadness, we share the passing of Jason Tanner Minter of Celeste, Texas. Jason, born on April 21, 2006, passed away on September 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Jason for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Jason’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.
He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Randy Hitsman and Jerry Minter; and his great-grandparents, Doris and Denver Ward. He is survived by: his parents, Jason Todd Minter and Kelly Jo Hitsman; his sisters, Madison Nicole Minter (Zay Edwards) and Preslee Grace Minter; his nephew Kylo Edwards; and his niece Zuri Edwards.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Celeste High School (609 FM1562, Celeste, TX 75423).
In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at the Celeste Bank for donations to be made to the Celeste Athletic Program to honor Tanner's life and love for Celeste sports.
