She was predeceased by: her parents, James Loyd Foley and Laura Melinda Turner Foley; her husband John E. Morton; and her sisters, Nancy West and Claudine Chaney.

She is survived by: her daughter Christie; her son-in-law David Murphy of Celeste; her grandchildren, Casey Murphy, Brandon Moss, Mitchell Murphy, Ashley Murphy and Rachel Townes; her great grandchildren, Truitt Murphy, Tayvin Moore, Ty Murphy, Regan Adams and Makayla Townes; her siblings, Norma Prisock and Sammy Foley; and her uncle Raymond Turner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
