He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferral Watlington and Elizabeth Huddleston Watlington; his children, Toni Kamille Watlington and Cecil Christopher Watlington; and his siblings, Kenneth Watlington, Jackie Watlington, Billy Earl Watlington and Mary Lou Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Watlington of Center; his children, Jasen Watlington (Peggy) of Center and Hope Frohbieter of Richmond; his grandchildren, Elizabeth (Richard Pinkston), Eryn Tyler Frohbieter, Gage Watlington, Linsey Shaeffer, Roni (Chris Waller), Brandi (Tommy Shiflett) and Lacy White; his great grandchildren, Kinzley, Andrew, Nora Pinkston, Alanea Edwards, Kase Hooper, Logan, Camden, Dylan Shiflett, Greyson Ray and Landry Middlebrook; his great great grandchild Kate Edwards; and his brother Jay Watlington (Jo) of Lufkin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cecil Watlington Roughrider Scholarship, Class of 1956 Roughrider Scholarship, First Methodist Church of Center, or a charity of choice.
