He was predeceased by: his parents, Velma Nichols and LaVon Gray. He is survived by: his wife Betty Gray; his sons, Darren Gray (Tonya) and Brandon Gray (Kelli); and his grandchildren, Destiny, Logan, Lacie, Grace, Carly, Cayden Gray and Brandon Dodson.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mangum Funeral Home (420 San Augustine St, Center, TX 75935). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oaklawn Memorial Park (Center, TX 75935).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Center or the charity of your choice in Gene's memory.
