He is survived by : his children, Simon Hamilton III of Houston, Tiffany Hamilton Nash (Dion) of San Augustine, Sonya Beck (Billy) of The Woodlands and Hope Hamilton of Lufkin; and his grandchildren, Noelle, Bianca, Desirae, Andrew and Liam.
