He was predeceased by : his parents, Willis Hunter and Ruby Crowe (Moore); his wife Peggy Crowe; his son Joe Paul Crowe; and his brother Charles Crowe.

He is survived by : his daughters, Vicky Haltom of Madisonville and Barbie Crowe of Houston; his granddaughter Erica Hathcoat (Daniel) of Bryan; his great grandchildren, Colin and Sadie Hathcoat; and his pet Lucy. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
