He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tittle and Ruth Tittle; his former wife Wilma Calhoun; his siblings, Roger Mills and Glenn Dean (Lawson); his son Dennis Gene Tittle Sr.; his stepson Darren Bates; and his grandchildren, Tammy Hughes and Cody Yarbrough.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Ron Tittle (Ann) of Temple, Texas and Beverly Hathaway (Robert) of Springfield, Missouri; his stepchildren, Kim Lacey (Danny) of Centerville and Darryl Bates (Teresa) of Centerville, Texas; his grandchildren, Chris Enloe (Misti) of Pasadena, Dennis Gene Tittle Jr. of Fort Smith and Derek Tittle of Georgetown, Texas; and his stepgrandchildren, Park Lacey, Krystal Brewer (J. W.), Kendra Harris (Brian), Kraig Bates (Brittany), Alex Harris (Colton) and Brody Bates of Houston. He is also survived by twenty-one great- grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Walters Funeral Home (610 S Commerce St, Centerville, TX 75833). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at the Sardis Cemetery (14737 FM 1512, Jewett, TX 75846).
