He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mae Bain (Parker) of Centerville, Texas; his children, Bobby W. Burleson (Tina) of Centerville, Billy R. Burleson (Sarah) of Trinity, Jay W. Bain (Tammy) of Midlothian, Texas and Christine E. Boren (Martin) of Centerville, Texas; and his sisters, Dorothy Pate and Patsy Ragland. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Walters Funeral Home (610 S Commerce St, Centerville, TX 75833). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at the New Salem Cemetery.
