He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Hulon Asby and Mary Virginia Asby; and his son Eric Brown Asby. He is survived by: his wife Ann; his son Cameron (Carin); his grandchildren, Anna Kate, Betsy, Leo and Mary; his son Marcus (Megan); his grandchildren, Clark and Helen; his son Jeffrey (Adrienne); his grandchildren, Elaine and Andrew; his siblings, Sheila Thomas (Roy), Sharon Hamrick (Edd) and Paul (Cindy); and his pet Harley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cowboy Church of Leon County (1419 TX-7, Centerville, TX 75833).
