She was predeceased by : her parents, Caroline Scarberry Toliver and James Monroe Tolliver; her brother Thurman Tolliver; and her great grandchild Avrhett Labig. She is survived by : her husband Ronald Burchett; her children, Gregory "Michael" Hatfield, Veronica Jean Hatfield and Rodney Brian Burchett (Madonna Gibson Burchett); her grandchildren, Kierstyn Yvonne Labig, Elizabeth Shae Burchett and Kailey Labig Patterson (Chad Patterson); and her great grandchildren, Aleigha Labig, Adalynn Labig and Memphis Patterson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
