He is survived by: his wife Linda Hunter of Chandler; his daughters, Lori McGill (Randy) of Chandler and Leslie Kerns (Brent) of Tyler; his grandchildren, Chris McGill, Chad McGill, Heather Cagle (Kevin), Mackenzie Kerns (Jerrel), Kendall Kerns (Kendall), Quinton Kerns and Logan Kerns (Gabbie); and his great grandchildren, Katie Cagle, Grayson Kerns, Eli James Kerns and Jack Kerns. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
