He is survived by: his wife Esther Frederick; his daughter Cindy McCarter; his granddaughters, Caitlin Hand (Kyle) and Jessica Shepherd; his great grandchild Nolan Hand; his sister Bettye Honea; and his daughter-in-law Vicki Riggs.
