James Randel Chaney Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Randel Chaney (Chandler, Texas), born in Snyder, Texas, who passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, S. O. Chaney and Evan Dell Chaney; and his sisters, Sherry Chaney and Marie Chaney. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Dewbre Chaney; his sisters, Sue Plumlee (Sam), Becky Stone and Connie Calderon; his sons, Brandon Chaney (Stephanie), Michael Chaney (Jennifer) and Loren Watson; his grandchildren, Clayton, Hannah, Nate, Sean and Marilla; his great grandchildren, Jaxon and Miles; and his pet Heather. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home (205 Broad St, Chandler, TX 75758). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chandler Memorial Cemetery (620 Old Tyler Rd, Chandler, TX 75758).
