He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Christopher Nash and Ruby Grace Nash (Reed); his wife Diane Shirley Nash (Havens); and his siblings, Cecil "Sonny" Nash, Jerry Nash, Tommy Nash, Mary McQueen and Ruth Ann Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Nash of Huntsville, Karen Thomas (James) of Overton and Joseph Nash (Kathy) of Chandler; his siblings, Clarence Nash of Austin, Jackie Nash of Quitman and Dorothy Nash Petty of Kilgore; his grandchildren, Kaylan Santos (Eliũ) and Amanda Meier (Landon); and his great grandchildren, Viviane Santos, Tahlia Santos, Victoria Santos, Calleigh Meier and Cain Meir. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
