He was predeceased by: his wife Laura Fern Haddox; his brother Odis; and his grandson Jeremiah Burley. He is survived by: his daughter Linda Burley (Brent); his grandchildren, Ronny Ehrlich (Emily) and Laura Taylor (Wil); his great grandchildren, Clayton Ehrlich, Josh, Addison Ehrlich, Jordan, Dylan Hathorn, Madison, Rhett Taylor, Tori, Ty Taylor and Josey; and his great great grandchildren, Adalynn Jo, Layton Grant, Lainey Grace and Kolbie Kate. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Dell Dale Baptist Church (402 Dell Dale St, Channelview, TX 77520).
