He is survived by: his daughter Alicha Ray (Nathan); his grandchildren, Connor Thornton, Declin Thornton, Sophia Ray, Deidre Thornton and Gabriel Thornton; his great grandchild Oaklee Harris; and his siblings, Buddy Thornton of Chico, Roy Thornton of Chico, Tom Thornton of Chico, Ada Clark of Marlow, Judy Darnall of Las Cruces and Fern Foster of Fort Worth.
