She is survived by: her sons, Russell Earl, Robert Claiborne and Roger Sidney; her husband Jim Read; her sister Julia Cauthorn; and her nieces and nephews, James Read (Kelly), Kyle Read and Will Sommers. She is also survived by her three sons and five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
