He was predeceased by: his parents, J. L. "Dutch" Prause and Vera Earl Bryant Prause; his siblings, Gilbert Prause, Mavis Reible, Naida Yarbrough, Danny Prause, Sammy Prause, Alvena Pocock and James Prause; and his granddaughter Jeanie Marie Rose.
He is survived by: his daughter Frances Renee Prause (Mark); his wife Jean Prause; his son Charles Prause (Robin); his sister Gloria Helleson; his grandchildren, Leslie Kennedy (Jeremiah), Hannah Rose, Amy Prause (Steph) and Abby Bradbury (Dillon); and his great grandchildren, Anna Kennedy, Rylee Jo Bradbury and Reid Bradbury. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
