George Black Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of George Black of China Spring, Texas. George, born on March 3, 1943, passed away on October 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Lucy Poteet, Juanita Allen and Betty Ruth Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Julia Black; his daughters, Elaine De Los Santos (Jimmy) and Missy Stried (Kyle); his grandsons, Phillip Black (Arrika) and Cody Stried (Madison); his great grandchildren, Katie Claire Black and Anna Marie Black; his sister Lona Mae Klutts; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Shotwell (Rick) and Janie Walker (Jimmy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lake Shore Funeral Home & Crematory (5201 Steinbeck Bend Dr, Waco, TX 76708). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
