He is survived by: his children, Matthews Walters (Jennifer), Robert Bertrand (Bonnie), Stephanie Dietz (Timothy), Tina Shaw, Michelle Walters, Melanie Macias (Brian) and Heather Aragon (Nathan); and his siblings, Joe Walters and Doris Murray. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren;11 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lumberton Family Funeral Home (766 S Main St, Lumberton, TX 77657). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
