It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Casteel of China, Texas, born in Beaumont, Texas, who passed away on June 8, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Loretta Thibodeaux and Jack Thibodeaux; her brother Mark Thibodeaux; her sister-in-law Rhonda Thibodeaux; and her great-nephew Angel Gallardo.

She is survived by : her husband Randy Casteel of China; her children, Jeff Casteel (Amanda) and Dana Klages (Jeremy); her siblings, Mike Thibodeaux of China and Jackie Lawson; her children, Matthew, Corey and Zoe (Chris Higgs) of Florida; her brother Paul Thibodeaux of Dallas; her grandchildren, Alyssa Klages, Jaxon Casteel and Addison Hargraves; her niece Brandi Gallardo (Yassin); and her great-nephews, Zachary and Vincent of Beaumont.
