He was predeceased by : his parents, Herman Floyd and Dora Baxter Sanford; his wife Clara Belle Sanford; his son Farrell Gene Sanford; and his siblings, Alyce Mae Sanford, Floyd Neal Sanford and Michael Glen Sanford.
He is survived by : his sisters, Mary Jane Shahan (Calvin) of Lancaster, TX and Carol Haston of Cedar Hill, TX; his children, Tommy L. Byrd (Robin) of Spring, TX and Debbie G. Byrd of Chireno, TX; his grandchildren, Ashley Hermann, Colin Byrd, Steven Byrd, Chris Byrd, Brittany Sanford Broadway and Myles Sanford Broadway; and his great grandchildren, Sabrina, Claire, Nora, Lucy, McKenna, Mason, Reid and Elijah.
