It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam Donnell of Chireno, Texas, who passed away on May 9, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Sam leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Sam may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Irvin Donnell and Connie Anderson Donnell (Anderson); and his sisters, Marie Shannon and Jerry Nichols Alford. He is survived by: his daughter Connie Elizabeth (Kelly); his wife Alice Donnell (Tootie); and his sons, Kenneth Donnell (Alida), Billy Donnell (Sheila) and Joe Donnell (Diana). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
