Emma Morris Obituary

She was born and raised in Cisco, and attended Cisco College where she later served as secretary to the President of the College. Following that tenure, Emma was the County Auditor for Eastland County. Upon retirement, Emma took on the job of secretary for the Oakwood Cemetery Association, and her greatest accomplishment was obtaining the historical designation for the cemetery.

She was a mother of three - Mike (Kay), Melody (Enyart) and Monte (Vicki), the grandmother of four, great-grandmother of seven and a new great great-grandmother.

Emma lived the last four years in the Rising Star Nursing Center where she ruled the roost and was spoiled rotten. Our thanks to the staff for their kindness and patience.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery Chapel.
