Freddy Glenn Hodges Obituary
Freddy Glenn Hodges, age 86 of Cisco, Texas, went to sleep in Yahsua, His Messiah, on December 9, 2025, at his home in Cisco, Texas. Glenn was born in Knox City, Knox County, Texas, on October 22, 1939, to George and Mozelle (Apple) Hodges. He was a graduate of Knox City High School, Knox City, Texas, where he participated in all sports. Track was his favorite. Glenn loved to watch the Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Cowboys, and was an avid fan of NASCAR driver, Dale Earnhardt. While attending high school, he worked as a stocker and butcher at the M System Grocery Store in Knox City.
Glenn attended Ranger Junior College where he met his wife Nancy Lee Galloway and they married on June 25, 1961, and have continued that marriage for 64 years. Glenn served three years in the Army where he served two years overseas in Germany and was honorably discharged in 1965. He worked as a Journeyman Ironworker in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area and retired after 20 years.
Glenn is preceded in death by two sons, Floyd Gregory Hodges and Freddy Glenn Hodges, Jr.; parents, George and Moselle (Apple) Hodges; and sister Janette Kilgore.
Glenn is survived by his wife Nancy Lee (Galloway) Hodges; son Eddy Lynn Hodges and wife, Amanda Edwards Hodges; sister Betty Hodges Johnson and husband Nick; sister Susie Hodges Marion and husband Roland; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
