Gary Boyd Obituary

Gary Don Boyd passed away at his home in Cisco Saturday, February 21, 2026.

Gary was born in Eastland on December 18, 1961 to Donald and Sybil Boyd. He graduated from Cisco High School. He married Teresa Holcomb on October 20, 1979. They owned Boyd Masonry for 30 years. He was always working and was proud of his work.

Gary liked to fish, hunt and watch Nascar races. He enjoyed racing cars and riding four wheelers with his grandkids. Gary loved any time he got to have with his kids and grandkids.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Sybil Boyd, his brother Derryl Boyd and his son Chris Boyd.

He is survived by his wife Teresa Boyd of Cisco; brother Carter Boyd of Cisco; children Terry Boyd, Dana Polk and Shelby Boyd, all of Cisco; and grandchildren Keegan Boyd, Jamison Torres, Ryan Aldridge, Jaida Polk and Kasen Barnes, all of Cisco.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Bible Baptist Church in Cisco with Pastor Stephen Forester officiating.
