Geraldine Brandon Obituary

Geraldine Brandon, Gerry, was born on 8/21/31 in Nashua, New Hampshire and walked into Jesus' arms on 3/16/24. Graveside services will be held at Dothan Cemetery in Cisco, Monday, March 18th at 1:00 PM.

It was in Nashua where Gerry met Gary Simpson who was on leave from the Navy. They were married and moved to Winters, TX, where they raised four children, Sally, Mary Nell, Mathew and Johnna.

She later married Bill Brandon and they made a home on the 7 Cross Ranch in Putnam, Texas. Gerry loved to travel and she did. She was famous for baking cakes and gifting them to everyone. She enjoyed nature and being outside working in her yard. Her favorite thing to do was to beat anyone and everyone at a game of Farkle and she did. She also loved traveling to the Kiowa casino with her adopted son Travis Bryan. They made many day trips to gamble for fun.

She is survived by her children Sally McDaniel and husband Howard, Mary Nell Rodriquez and husband Zeke, Mathew Simpson, Johnna Young and husband Lowell. Her 5 grandchildren, Cody English, Trina Riley, Molly Lang, Shantel Rodriquez and Tori Lacky. 15 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.

Pall-bearers will be Lowell Young, Travis Bryan, Sha Lang, Cody English, Michael Riley and Howard McDaniel.

The family would like to thank Hendrick Hospice Care and especially, Jason Murillo for all they have done for their mother, Gerry. God bless you all.
