Michael Anderson Obituary
Michael L. Anderson of Cisco, entered into heaven Wednesday, September 30th, at Eastland Memorial Hospital at the age of 83.
Michael was born February 19, 1943, in San Angelo to E.D. and Helen Louise Anderson.
Following graduation from Bryan Adams High School in Dallas in 1961, Mike served in the Coast Guard for five years. On September 6, 1966, Mike married the love of his life, Yolanda Mascorro.
Mike loved collecting cars, especially Toyotas; he enjoyed playing the harmonica and loved blues music. Mike's humor was legendary; he shocked his friends with outrageous comments that left everyone laughing. Mike loved making new friends everywhere he went.
Recently, Mike shared that Jesus came for his dad and Jesus was coming for him soon, too.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents Louise and E. D. Anderson, and his sister-in-law Karen Anderson.
He is survived by his wife Yolanda Anderson; Steve, his weiner dog extraordinaire; daughters Shannon Phillips, Amy Anderson, and Mary Mascho and husband Tim; grandchildren Pierson Phillips, Betty Phillips, Anderson Phillips, Emma Mascho; brother David Anderson, niece Kevyn BrookeThompson and husband Jeremy; and grand dog Stanley. Also, Jose Flores, who was like a son to Mike, Jose's wife Alejandra, their children Esperanza, Esmeralda, Roberto, and Perla.
A private family burial will be held at Romney Lutheran Cemetery.. A service of remembrance will follow at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1711 Conrad Hilton Blvd in Cisco, at 12:00 PM Tuesday, October 6, 2026. .
In lieu of flowers a gift may be made in memory of Mike to Redeemer Childhood Learning Center, 1711 Conrad Hilton Blvd., or the charity of your choice.
