With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ted Griffis of Clarksville, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 16, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ted may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ted touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Griffis and Emma Jean Harris Griffis; and his sister Sharon Dean. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carnahan Griffis of Clarksville; his daughters, Sara Russell of Nacogdoches and Katherine Griffis (Justin Pitts) of Denison; his grandchild Tayler Russell of Nacogdoches; and his siblings, Shirley Norman (John) of Lawton, Oklahoma and Warren Griffis of Willow, Oklahoma..
