She was predeceased by: her husband Robert W. Strawn; her parents, William Beard and Norma Beard (Stanfill); and her brother William Beard, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Billy Birdsong (Sue), Bobby Birdsong (Crystal) and Christopher Birdsong (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Trinity Head, Gracie Moore, Nash Birdsong, Collin Cole, Caleb Turner and Mason Birdsong; and her sister Frances Jenkins (Tim). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of floral tributes for the service.
