She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Worth Rocket Smith and Angelina Sophronia Knotts Smith; her children, Diane Ellis, Sherril Durbin, Leslie Ellis, Harley Ellis and Steven Goot; and her grandchildren, Dan Ellis, Brandon Ellis, Chris Durbin, Katherine Guillory, Karen Thomas, Charles O'Neil, Acesa O'Neil and Brandee Peters. She was also cherished by 20 great-grandchildren and at least 3 great-great-grandchildren, along with extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Restland Cemetery's Wildwood Chapel (13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Restland Memorial Park - Veterans (13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243).
