She was predeceased by: her parents, Athey Herbert and Ora Cecil Shirley (Kellum); her husband Herschel Birchhfied; and her siblings, Gene Shirley, Walter Shirley, Lawerence Shirley, Buddy Shirley and Christine Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, Robby Kent (Kendra) and Juanita "Sissy" Baxter; her grandchildren, Patricia Robinson, Glenn Lathers (Natasha), Kenn Lathers (Wendy), Chris Lathers, Will Kent and Rowdy Kent; and her close friend Meridith Sowell. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home (512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel (512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at the Rio Vista Cemetery.
