It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Morris Davis of Cleburne, Texas, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by : his wife Ellen Sue Davis; his son Chris; his daughter-in-law Carol Davis of California; his daughter Sandra; his son-in-law Anthony Denning of Cleburne; his sister Helen Bailey of Cleburne; his sister-in-law Therissa Young of Clifton; his grandsons, Parker Denning (Taylor Denning) of Bryan, Payton Denning (Mara Denning) of Watauga and Charlie Davis of Cleburne; and his great grandchild Emmerson Jo Denning. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home (200 E Patton Ave, Alvarado, TX 76009). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Keene Seventh Day Adventist (114 S Fairview St, Keene, TX 76059).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Keene Food Pantry program of the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church, a cause close to Charles's heart, embodying his spirit of compassion and generosity towards seniors and those in need.
