He is survived by: his mother Barbara Syrus; his children, Jackie Syrus (Bridget) and Jillian Anchondo (Victor); his grandchildren, Connor Syrus, Carsyn Syrus, Tryston Anchondo, Haleigh Syrus and Greyson Anchondo; his great grandchildren, Isaiah and Natalie; his siblings, Jimmy Syrus (Teresa) and Charlotte Clements; his nephews, Jeremy Syrus, Joey Syrus and Jarred Clements; and his niece Tina Flavin.
